Just finished a commission, it’s a beautiful house for a lady with fine taste, we are just wiring up the flicker units for the fires which is the last thing to do. Here are some photos meantime….
Help please!
I have bought some items from a vintage collection spanning over 30 years. I recognise most bits, but I am a loss as to who has made these working metal kitchen tools. I love them, but would like to know about them…. Any ideas?
Another room I’m working on, Thorne room inspired, well colour scheme anyway, lighting not wired up, have to collect two chandeliers from Ray Storey at Miniatura Sunday, but again, playing about with furnishings. unusually for me this ones quite bright and pretty, I normally like the more neutral colours.
Update on my American Colonial room, lighting not wired in yet, so in a harsh spotlight glare, playing about with furnishings to see what suits the room. Still a work in progress…
Working on a new room, thought I would post the colour scheme. It’s design is American colonial, walnut furnishings with antique crystal lighting. Will post more as it develops, it sort of looks sepia, but there is a lot of walnut and gold in this room too.
Well I guess it runs in the family, this is the work of my Brother Michael, he had been handcrafting little things for years, but just started a dolls house miniatures range, I already have an order in. Yes, I know he’s my Brother, but I know skill when I see it.

I have a new room in my head, it’s has a strong French Theme. These are the images that are inspiring me. Marie Antoinette didn’t get it all wrong. I will post photos as the room progresses.
Sasha’s house, just completed. I have always wanted to do this, I took photos as I worked so I could see the progress. Untouched for 15 years, all Sasha’s design choices, I just put it together. If you want to see it finished, follow the photos….
